    Yeast stuck in carboy neck?

    Pitched my yeast (US-05) and didnt notice some stuck in the upper part of the neck of my 6.5 gallon carboy, they somewhat rehydrated (pitched dry) and they are just stuck there in maybe a dollar coin sized area...should i worry? will they mold and should i try to wash them down somehow?

    Pomegranate mead idea!

    So i just came into about 25lbs worth of whole pomegranate and i got the idea to turn it into mead! i was wondering if the best way to incorporate it would be to just throw the seeds in whole or should i put them all in a big bowl and mash them first and dump the pulp into my fermenter?
