    Good half volume boil style?

Yes, the late extract method is the best way for partial boils. Been doing it for a while now and am very pleased with the results.

Extract addition in last 15min of boil?

I've been doing this for a while too, I steep grains and do a partial boil. It's helps alot with the color and also with the hop utilization. Seems to be the best way to go with extracts.

    Using Oak

Last month I had a cask conditioned brown ale at my local brewpub and it was great. I picked up some oak chips the other day and plan on giving it a try myself.

    LME at end of boil

I do the same as Homebrewer and boil 1 lb. of the DME with the steeped water and the hops and add the rest of the extract after 45 mins. It does seem to help with the hop utilization and the color doesn't seem to get as dark that way.

    First Label

I've been using regular printer paper, in different colors. I trim them and apply them to the bottle with an Elmer's glue stick. Works really well and they come off easily.

    Priming with Mr Beer

I've had good luck with 6 tablespoons of corn sugar or 10 tablespoons of DME mixed with a half cup of water when batch priming. With the corn sugar its pretty much an equal measure with cane sugar, with DME you need to use more. Hope this helps.
