You should be able to find pond pumps at any landscaping store, Home Depot, or garden center. You'd probably be fine with the cheapest as there is little water to pump and almost no grade.

Could you go over the last step re: decanting? I'm not sure I get how much to pull out. THanks!

Alright! I'm back in business and the hefe is flowing fine! Ultimately, I think the problem was that I had overfilled the keg. I don't have a check valve, though one is on my 'to-get' list. Thanks for all the help.

Thanks - I had filled the keg up pretty high. I've cleaned the line and let out some beer, hopefully that should do the trick.

I'm getting a bit of beer shooting up into my CO2 line from the keg. It's not a lot, but I am concerned that it might compromise the sanitation of the system. Any thoughts? Thanks

I'm new to kegging. Everytime I turn on my gas (forcing at around 30 psi), I get this loud blap-blap-blap for about 2 seconds before it goes away. Does this indicate some kind of leak in my valves? Is this normal? Thanks!
