    GOOD on Netflix STREAMING?

Blue Valentine. Has Ryan Gosseling and Michelle Williams. Kind of a romantic drama, but it's not really a happy story. Great soundtrack. I loved it.

    ESB Quest

I also stick with Fullers for my commercial esb. I haven't had the best luck in my homebrews replicating English flavor in esb's. Probably tried 4 or 5 times. The best English beers I have home brewed have been mild ales. Specifically orfy's mild from this site is the best English homebrew I've...

Double IPA Stone Enjoy By IPA

It took me a while, but here's how I get my cone. On flameout, I start the pump with the chiller in the pot. You don't have to start the chiller at this point. Whirlpool and chill for however long you need. Turn off the pump and take the chiller out at the same time. Wait 20 minutes. You should...

Specialty IPA: Rye IPA Denny Conn's Wry Smile Rye IPA

Absolutely! As long as the cat gets skinned. Just replying to this thread is making me want to brew this up again. I think I subbed the yeast last batch and the beer wasn't the same.

Specialty IPA: Rye IPA Denny Conn's Wry Smile Rye IPA

I have to respectfully disagree here. I would order a 4 quart flask from Northern brewer. I slummed it for quite a while with starters, but it's really nice to be able to cook, cool, and ferment in the same vessel. Don't forget the fermcap!

Double IPA Stone Enjoy By IPA

Just got everything for this, but I only have one 5ml hopshot. According to northern brewer's website, I should get around 50 ibu's from this. That is very close to the 20 AAU (which equals 56 ibu's) called for in the recipe. Any opinions on what to do? I am probably just going to roll with the...

Ways to say "I love you"

Man I used to love making jewelry. My favorite class in high school and I won a bunch of art shows. If I could come up with an oven and a centrifuge I would still be doing it as a hobby. Where do you go for your oven, supplies, etc?

Mold, Yeast, or what in my barleywine

That is normal. It's just yeast flocced against the side of the carboy. Happens all the time.

Specialty IPA: Rye IPA Denny Conn's Wry Smile Rye IPA

Haven't made this beer in a few years. A tasty treat as always.

    Banana Wine

I bottled 3 gallons of this today after 6 months of bulk aging. It was very good already. Probably my favorite wine so far. I was worried because I didn't have any signs of fermentation when I added the raisins. Gravity was down to 1.014 though. This had a lot more body than most of my other...
