    Adapter from commercial sanke coupler

Is there such a thing that, without disconnecting lines, a taproom can connect to a sanke fitting that duplicates the top of the sanke keg and has the two ball lock tubes and couplers. This way a bartender can simply connect the bars sanke coupler to this adapter and then plug the ball locks...

    Sanke to Ball Lock

The local restaurant would like to try my beer. They have sanke and I have ball lock. Does anyone make a coupler that mimicks a sanke keg they can connect to that has the ports for attaching lines and ball lock connectors?

    Emergency.... no yeast in kit

My mistake is I didn't do inventory when I received the kit. No yeast. I bought two kits. One is a Honey Wheat with a ale yeast. I have that yeast. The one I am brewing now is a Lemon drop Pilsner No yeast in the kit. So my only choice is to use the ale yeast or... I have a big bag of Red Star...

Beer backflowing but I have check valves.

The infamous back flow into the CO2 line issue. I often forget about the pressure differential and beer shoots up the CO2 line. I disconnected the line at the valve at the regulator and removed the valve. It does have a check valve. I'm confused. Beer still backflows. I'm thinking I need a check...

Purchased beer keg won't flow at all

I have the "D" style US tap and have been using it for over a year... probably went through over 5 sixtles. I also home brew using cornys but like to buy a local craft brewed keg especially when I'm running low. So I tapped this thing and nothing. Checked all of the standard things like gas...

    Pennsylvania Catalyst Fermenters

2 clean 6.5 gallon Catalyst fermenters for 5 gallon batches. I am the original owner of these. Best fermenters you can get for the money. I paid 199 for each and added the racking valves ($25 each) and the dark covers with access panel for viewing ($30) each. So altogether new this package was...

    Spike Flex mod

Bought 2 Flex units. Decided to upgrade the blow off port by welding a 1.5 ferrule to the lid. Bought some 1.5 cutout flanges and opened them up with the correct taper for a 5 bung. I think it's a 5 or 5.5. Now I can put the airlock on or the manifold to pressure transfer. Found out the Flex lid...

    Pennsylvania Precision tap handles. Stainless

I designed and made these out of solid stainless. I know at first look there are two sides..boring.. or sweet. They are more than sweet. The feel and balance when pouring is perfect. Anyone interested in obtaining these I'm testing the waters.

Clogging line from heavy hazy fix

I keg into corny's. When I fill I hang a hop bag off a post and put the filler hose in the bag to catch junk so as not to clog the lines. This keg I just carbonated kept clogging. I may have slipped with the hose during filling. It's a pain once you're kegged. Came up with a fix. I removed the...

Have a couple and make mistakes....

I was a bit light headed and decided to brew. Made some mistakes... hoping this isn't a waste of beer. Brewing DME kit Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA clone. I added the 2 packs of dry hops at the end of the boil. Obviously should be days later in the fermenter. Should I get more hops and do the...

    High OG

So I'm brewing from a kit. Have done at least 10 batches from this company (Craft a Brew). Great results overall. DME Just finished and filled the fermentor. New England IPA. Recipe says OG 1.057 I get 1.12. This recipe is: 2.125 lb Honey Malt and Flaked oat blend steeped in early at 155 deg...

    Sanke kegs for $30

I find this strange. I'm all setup with 3 converted korny kegs. While waiting for brews to ferment, I pick up sixtels and 1/4 kegs with light brews for everyday drinking. Deposit on the keg is $30. Two places I asked the same question. "Can't I keep the keg and forfeit the $30?" Both...

First time brewer... right to the keg

I'm one of those nutcases that goes full bore from the get go with a new hobby. Not quite with this one but I wanted good beer dispensing. Brewing will take some time. Went with the Catalyst for now only because it looked like a good idea at the time being I had no experience. I already had a...
