    CO2 refills in Redwood Falls

Redwood Fire Extinguisher Service has been refilling my tank. He doesn't have a pump yet so only gets about 3/4 full but it lets me keep my lighter aluminum tank that looks decent sitting outside the fridge. He is not cheap... but that might change if he gets more volume going from beer...

Anyone in the Marshall MN area want to do a bulk malt buy and do a pickup in MPLS at NB?

I use a LOT of golden promise and shipping is a killer. The guys in Marshall can't order it so I am stuck with NB prices... So does anyone want to go in and buy enough malt to make a trip up and back with my pickup pay? I would be getting 3-4 sacks of GP myself(enough for 3-5 months of brewing...)

I need an oatmeal milk stout recipe to use as a base for a red velvet oatmeal milk stout. Trying to clone the one made by Brau Brothers Brewery in Marshall, MN. Cheap pump for cooling water

I need a cheap pump for cooling water for my brewing setup. I use an immersion chiller and plan on going to a 55 gallon tank that is half full of water that I drop gallon jugs of ice into so I use less water(water is mega expensive in my town so running it on the lawn is not something I like to...

My kegerator build from an old fridge that used to be in my garage for fermenting

Fridge is an old Frigidaire that has been in the shed, then garage, then front porch as a ferm chamber. Many greasy hands grabbing beers from it so the handle needs some work to clean it up. Some rust low down on the door too to take care of but I can't decide what color to paint it. Door...

Google batting zero... didn't see it in the sticky... My chest freezer that is doing fridge duty off my solar panels(outboard temp controller of course) has 26.75 inches of usable height inside. How tall is a typical ball lock keg with connectors??? I am sure this has been asked 1,000 times...

Effect of sulfate o this recipe...

An RO system hasn't fit the budget yet and distilled water is killing me... none of the local stores have RO water, just filtered which I can do myself. My water is good for brewing most beers except for the 400ppm sulfate reading... my house beer is this 16 pounds of Golden Promise 3...

Swap Danstar Nottingham Ale for S-04 in Milk stout

    Review of FoodSaver mylar bags

As I promised I was going to review some mylar bags I found that work with some FoodSaver vacuum machines. They are thick and heavy duty so if you can get a seal they will work well to protect hops. I had to seal twice to get a seal and after the sealing bar heated up they worked much better...

    Oddball idea...

I was looking at my fermenting fridge and wondering how I could get a third bucket in there... what we need is a square(rounded corners for easy clean) and squat fermenter that will sit on a standard fridge shelf with a low profile airlock system. Something shaped like that I could get 3-4...
