My ssr is only allowing a trickle of power through to the plug so my water is painfully slow at heating. I also have a sainsmart ssr. Is it simple to hook up to one of those instead?

I can't seem to find a recipe for this beer, only the other taps. A good few don't mention the tap number but from discussion of colour they seem to refer to the darker versions as opposed to this light one. Has anybody had experience brewing one or a very handy recipe to pass on to me?

The car button worked, so simple! Well it worked for the heater, that's gpio 17, I thought the agitator would be on gpio 18 but that doesn't work still. To be fair I don't actually have any sort of agitator yet so this is all I need for now. Thanks!

Looking at the diagram I can see no external power source for the kettle as you'd have in the brew pi. I assume the USB cable into the pi can't provide eight power for a 13 amp plug on a kettle?

Hooked up my brew pi to my boiler and blew the fuse in the plug I'd wired up to the relay. Makes sense, fuse in that plug was 5 amps, boiler was 13.
