Drinking my first brew of Jun Kombucha... I got buzzed for sure

scoby has large bubbles of gas trapped under it. What do I do?

Im currently brewing and my scoby has large bubbles of gas trapped under it. What do I do? do I just let it be (some these bubbles are puffing up the scoby quite a bit)? Or do I take a virgin straw or poker type instrument and move the scoby around so that the gas bubbles are released.

How sensitive is Jun Kombucha to light?

How sensitive is Jun Kombucha to light? Is it fine with some indirect daylight? I want to use a clear glass container because I enjoy watching it and would prefer not to hide it in a dark place or using a ceramic pot. I have read conflicting info on the subject. Any advice? thanks

Booklyn Kombucha has some mighty expensive SCOBY's. Is there any reason for this besides high end marketing? http://www.kombuchabrooklyn.com/cultures.html thanks T
