I made one once by wrapping the copper around a corney keg, it worked out well. If you gently use the natural bends in the copper you may be able to have both end up in the same spot on the top end. I used ring clamps to keep them together from the top of the coil. Good luck!

I did a similar recipe for a 10 gallon batch with 14 lbs MO 2 lbs honey malt and 7 lbs 2Row with only 4 oz of Amarillo with and it came out awesome. Good luck, I think the MO and Honey will work really well. Cheers

Putting it in before the boil would definitely make it easier on the hop spider fire drill during the last 15 minutes. Great idea-!

Welcome! Boston and cape here too! I use a ranco temp controller on the fermentation fridge and a seed germinating mat (like a heating pad ) both set at 68 and it holds a steady 68 very well for the primary. As soon as I start to cold crash, the heating mat gets unplugged. Good luck! Cheers!
