    Raspberry wheat FIX!

I just plotted my data into a calc, and it says two very interesting things: 1. my gravity is supposed to be well over 1.055, even subtracting the 0.2 kg of dme i added. I measured 1.045 in 23 celsius wort... maybe it wasnt mixed properly. 2. My final gravity is actually calculated to be...

    Raspberry wheat FIX!

Ok, so I got a safale 05 and threw it in. Now after 48 hours i am down 0.002 to 1.018-1.017. also got some yeast nutrition and threw it in there. I have airlock activity, like twenty quiet bubbles in a row and then five minutes in between each cycle. Azndrgn, i measured the gravity to 1.045...

    Raspberry wheat FIX!

I stirred it up and added some dme soup and now there is good airlock activity. Hoping for it to drop below 1.01 at least

    Raspberry wheat FIX!

After a month in the fermenter, gravity is stuck at 1.020 down from 1.045. This is a 19 liter milestone kit that i made with 16 liters. The beer has been at around 19 degrees celsius all the time. I had no idea what to do, so i added 200 grams of boiled DME, stirred and now i am hoping for...

Just got two new high end kits...

Ok, this is just about to go down. I usually boil my kits for 60 minutes. Does anyone know what this will do to the raspberry flavour in there? Should i stay or should i go classic, just pouring water onto extract in the fermenter??

Stupid title, i know! But at least i got some answers :D Yes, the kit said 1.040, but i added only 900 grams of sugar, so i just took a wild guess of 1.036... It was an extract kit. One can of liquid malt extract, "regular" size (1.5 kg maybe??), and 900 grams of table sugar, 125 grams...
