Easy Partial Mash Brewing (with pics)

Great post. I have yet to venture past extract with specialty grains but plan on heading in the BIAB direction soon. Might hit this technique up first on my way up the ladder. Cheers.

    Hi from SE, AZ

Hello from Yuma!! a lot of good information and banter on this website. I've only been at it a little over a year and find most if not all of my answers here. And like I said, some good mindless rambling and BS'ing "occasionally" occurs. Cheers.

Brew Your Own Magazine worth it?

Got an AHA membership and BYO subscription as I travel a lot and like to have the magazine handy and don't always have wifi/internet. Both are awesome and due to the content consider both of them good investments.

What craft beer do you secretly despise?

Not a fan of most Rogue beers, DFH IPA's or anything Sam Adams.

    Naturally Carbing a Keg...

Kegged my first keg with CO2 and don't have the double regulator and another one ready to keg so I'm gonna go the natural route for the first time in a keg as well. I appreciate the info on cutting the priming sugar back as I was going to just use the normal amount. Cheers.

    Is this an ale thing?

I've only got about 6 batches under my belt but Safale 05 has been ol' reliable for me so far.

    Keg Force Carbing Methods Illustrated

Thank you for the heads up. I did another leak check and everything is good but after consulting Northern Brewer customer service he asked if the co2 tank was inside the keezer. When I told him it was he made the same comment that the gauge will always be off due to the temp change. Never...

    Keg Force Carbing Methods Illustrated

This may have been covered but browsing through 79 pages of posts isn't in the cards at this moment. I kegged for the first time last night. Kegged at 40 degrees and have at 10-11 PSI to reach what I hope is 2.3 volumes of CO2 for my Belgian IPA. My question is how much CO2 would this...

    Hello from San Diego

Welcome aboard! I'm just over the mountain in Yuma but try to spend a lot of the summer on your side so it's actually enjoyable. I'm deploying but would be stoked to trade beers once I get back and up and brewing again some time after the new year. I love IPA's and plan on knocking out the NB...
