    Aluminum pot.

    So, I got a brew pot off craigslist. Aluminum. I cleaned it with oxyclean. Mistake now I know, everything tastes metallic.     Clonebrews left hand stout

    I brewed this a about a week ago, it came out very light. And I still have some of the grains left over so I was going to try it again. My question is.... The recipe called for 3.3 lbs of extra light dme, and 3.3 light lme.... I think (maybe) that the light extract maybe why it came out...

    wrong malt... brew anyway??

    just got home from the brew store ready to give a milk stout a shoot. i picked up golden light DME instead of extra light(didnt double check, grr) do i need to go back? or would this work out for me? thanks... grr

    northern brewer nut briw ale yeast help

    Just started my first batch, and I noticed the yeast that came with the kit (muntons active brewing) says it needs dissolved in cooled boiled water. The directions in the kit say to cut the packet and add to the fermenter? What should I do? Thanks
