I don't have the silicone yet. It's a propane setup and I couldn't imagine it getting hotter than 500 degrees F since it only take about 212 degrees F to boil wort. Yes the pots would be a bit hotter but I doubt twice as hot. I was really hoping there would be some stick on pads available but...

Thanks everyone for the great advice. Plan on picking up regulator and fittings from Amazon with the gift card and sleuthing out tanks and kegs. Other than wrenches, hoses etc. are there other things I should look at finding? What's the best way to keep everything clean?

Just finished putting together my lid mounted HERMs unit today. Turned out really nice. Had to order another $130 worth of hardware today because I didn't figure right.

That's exactly what I'm trying to do. I am using all three outlets. it's part of a HERMs setup and I need the use of all three ports and I'll need to be able to mount the valve on my stand since they wont be mounted directly to my kettles or mash tun.
