    Yeast Washing Illustrated

    How many of the jars did you end up with? On average I'll get 4 jars filled and each contain roughly 200B cells. 200B is just under a normal pack or vial you'd buy.

    Advice needed for quick kegging

    If I want mine ready as soon as possible, I'll put the PSI at 30 and roll the keg on the ground for a few minutes. After a few hours of settling, I'll do it again.     Gravity Readings -- Leave it in!

    I use buckets and will sanitize the hydrometer and put it right in the bucket when the wort is cooled. After all the fermentation is done, I'll do the same thing just before bottling/kegging. This has worked fine for me.
