MYPIN TD4 "Manual Mode" Pulse Width Setting?

Thanks for the input. I've got a 40 amp SSR for the 5500 watt heaters, so that should be adequate. Its bolted to a heat sink which is also transferring heat through portions of the control panel as well and it stays "touchable" during the entire boil.

MYPIN TD4 "Manual Mode" Pulse Width Setting?

So, after purchasing three of the MYPIN TA4's, I quickly realized that the TA4 doesn't have a manual mode. I subsequently purchased the TD4 and I'm able to set the "percent" on fairly easily and get it functioning as designed. However, I can't seem to figure out how, or if, there is a way to...

Need some guidance with service panel

I just installed my 30 amp GFCI breaker for my upcoming electric brewery as well! I've done plenty of panel wiring over the past 15 years, and I've got my degree in electrical engineering. There is no issue with having your new plug chose to the panel. As a matter of fact, some electricians even...

    WY1728 Sottish Ale short ferment

Used the wyeast Scottish ale twice now in the past month, both with 1 liter starters for about 24 hours. Both beers fermented at 64, and both finished primary in just over two days, similar to yours. Both beers started around 1.070 and were at 1.020 after three days. Scottish ale yeast has a...

    Chest Freezer Specs and Layouts

Actually, since this, I have indeed added a recirc fan wired to a timer which cycles it 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off...works great!

    Chest Freezer Specs and Layouts

You'll see a few posts back that I posted all the information about the Danby 10.2 freezer. I've had it in use now for about 2 months and its great! The bottom line is that it holds six pin lock kegs on the floor AND a 20 pound steel CO2 tank which is awesome, might I add - all on the floor...

    1084 super slow start

This is a yeast that I love for my reds and Irish stouts. Never had an issue with kickoffs and I harvest this yeast regularly, probably used about half a dozen times in past six months. If it had a different smell than the normal funky yeast smell and it hadn't kicked off at this point, I'd...

    Chest Freezer Specs and Layouts

ResumeMan...as to how to deal with those rounded corners... I used 1x10's for the collar. I used a pen from underneath to draw the radius. I then used my miter saw to cut a 45 on each corner. Then, I used 1x1's to reinforce the corners and set on top of the freezer. After assembling, I used...

    Chest Freezer Specs and Layouts

ResumeMan - In short, YES...This is what I did for about the first month that I had this freezer. Below is a thread that talks all about setting the coarse screw and I believe I posted info about this freezer in that thread...

Guide to set internal chest freezer thermostat to >32F; Eliminate external control

Hey, Derick Z - mine does the same thing empty...BUT, I took a cup of water and stuck a thermometer and even though the freezer "air" temp varies like you explain (I had a digital thermometer in there as well), the water temp lowered to about 36 and settled in for the long haul (2-3 days at that...

Guide to set internal chest freezer thermostat to >32F; Eliminate external control

Just acquired a new Danby 10.2 chest freezer this past Saturday. When you remove the main compressor cover, you can see a screw on the thermostat. I removed the sticker that I also saw and there was no screw under it, so naturally I figured the visible screw was the coarse screw. After a few...

    Chest Freezer Specs and Layouts

Here are some prelim pics - just started keezer build this morning... One pic, as you can see, shows that six kegs will fit (using cardboard cutouts and moving around the actual keg. The other shows the coarse set screw on the thermostat - you'll want to screw CLOCKWISE to increase the...

    Chest Freezer Specs and Layouts

Here are the specs for the Danby 10.2 cu ft chest freezer. I chose this model because it was one of the only ones larger than 7.2 cu ft that had a high gloss SMOOTH surface as well as a solid core lid which doesn't dimple when setting a beer on it. It also is a little less wide which makes it...

    Show Us Your Label

My brother made it kind of as a joke and could probably make any necessary tweaks if I was super serious about actually using it for real. Yes, both kids called it that when they were about 3. I could see where, if you didn't have kids, daddy juice would mean something totally different!

That's a 5 gallon pin lock inside a 70 qt igloo max cold ice cube cooler. And yes, only mod was cutting the hole with a jigsaw, or whatever else you might have handy. I bought the party tap and mini co2 charger so I don't have to haul around hoses and tanks.
