    60 l spedel fermenter sealing issues

    Anyone have a 60l speidel fermenter that is have in issues with sealing? I think my gasket may be stretched out or something. Will not seal. I put water in it and turn upside down and it leaks like crazy.

    Maybe it's just me, but I have really had some not so good flavors come out of this "clean" yeast. From fruity, peach like flavors to a almost Belgian like aroma and off flavor.     Dumped starsan yeast in bottom of fermenter not water

    I think I screwed my yeast. Racked beer off the yeast cake and kegged 10 gallons. I had a growler full of boiled cooled water and one full of starsan.
