    Spring 2024 Corny Keg Giveaway

Hello. My last brew as a 'Wood Aged' Stout where I used bourbon soaked oak spirals for the wood 'aging'. It is just now being crashed so that I can move it into a keg for aging and storage. I am hoping a few months untouched will improve the wood taste. My next project will be a Belgin Single...

HI. Furthering this conversation. Is there a spiral to spirit ratio; ie. one spiral to 16 oz bourbon, etc.?

    Vanilla Bean (Tincture)

    Oxiclean vs PBW

Read your reply. IMHO your using too much PBW. I use it at a rate of 2 tbls per 5 gal. This formula has worked perfectly well. :drunk:

I am attempting to brew a campfire ale. Attempting to achieve a smoky aroma without the heavy smoky taste. How did your batch turn out?

    Quick Disconnects

I have a question concerning quick disconnects. Quick Disconnects – Plastic or stainless fittings that join the plastic keg hose to the keg itself. There are two types – pin and ball connectors corresponding to pin type and ball type Cornelius kegs. The ball type kegs seem to be more common...
