    Should my alcohol smell

    Hey all... As the title states. I ferment my wash using 8kg Dextrose Classic turbo yeast then the 2 part finings. However when I distill it. The alcohol has a metho type smell to it. This is turning me off the flavor whilst drinking. Is this just the way it is or am I doing something wrong?
