What are my options for flat, bottled beer?

Keg it! I had a winter saison, around 11% that didn't carb in bottles. Decided it was time to upgrade to kegging. Slowly dumped the bottles into the keg and force carbonated over the course of the next week.

Size of secondary with fruit puree

I racked onto the puree about 36 hours ago and there is only a 1/2" of krausen. I'm just going to stick to brewing two beers at a time, since I only have two taps and don't want to piss off the SO with even more brewing equipment in the apartment.

Size of secondary with fruit puree

My LHBS is out of both size carboys anyways.... Just gotta wait 5 days for my IIPA to finish dry hopping so I can move the IPA to the 5 gallon and then the wheat to the 6 gallon.

Size of secondary with fruit puree

I brew 5 gallon batches. So I'd prefer to have an additional 5 gallon carboy for dry hopping. Would it affect the beer if I waited a few more days for my IPA to finish primary and move that to a new 5 gallon carboy for dry hopping and just put the wheat beer in there? Essentially, is it ok to...

Size of secondary with fruit puree

I'm making an apricot wheat and it's time to rack to a secondary. However, I have no available carboys, so I need to buy another one. The primary fermentation was in a 6 gallon glass carboy and it required a blow off tube because there was a huge cap on it. My question is what size...

Too much water in blowoff rig?

Was there activity in the fermenter? I would go by the krausen and movement in fermenter more than the bubbles.

    Is my yeast starter screwed?

Checked in this morning and the krausen was almost to the top of the growler! Looks like the heat didn't do much damage as there was no lag. I'll just be more careful next time anyways.

    Is my yeast starter screwed?

I'm brewing on Saturday and made a starter using WLP300 and a cup of light DME. After the boil, I stuck it in the freezer and brought it down to ~92F, then for some reason just took it out, put in growler, aerated and pitched. Did I ruin this by aerating and pitching too high?

Pliny The Elder - BeerSmith 2 Question

Thanks for all the information. I was just confused as the 90 minute boil will only amount to about 1 gallon loss. That made me think that since there is less to boil, I should be using less hops, otherwise the IBUs are too high. I don't know how to measure my trub loss or fermenter loss...

Pliny The Elder - BeerSmith 2 Question

I'm attempting my first AG brew soon with the help of BeerSmith. It's going to be a Pliny The Elder clone. It's based on the following recipe, https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f36/pliny-elder-recipe-questions-125517/index8.html#post1537060. The recipe calls for gathering 8 gallons of runnings...

How can I tell if I broke a coolant line in fridge?

Thanks for putting my mind at ease. Now I just have to figure out this condensation problem.

How can I tell if I broke a coolant line in fridge?

I just finished building my first kegerator. Everything seems to be working nicely, except that the fridge is louder. I'm not sure if the fridge is actually louder, or it's just me being paranoid. It just sounds like liquid is flowing around inside. Fridge is getting cold and even has some...

    Cheapest Kegging Supplies Around

I've been lurking for a while, mainly getting info on kegging and kegerator conversions. If I was trying to advertise, I wouldn't use my real name as a handle..... I usually don't post in many forums just because I use the search function and almost always find my answers, especially one as...

    Cheapest Kegging Supplies Around

I'm just getting into kegging and decided to do it right by building a 2 keg system. After looking everywhere for the cheapest deals, I found cornykeg.com. I saw this place has only been mentioned in one other post after I searched, so I figured I would name drop it here. The prices are...
