    Funky smell

    Has any one ever had there beer stink when the cracked the fermenter open to ball or keg which ever you do? I tasted it and it taste good but man it stinks. I'm thinking its cause its fermented product but not sure if that's it or if it's something else.

    Carbinated in fermenter

    Never bottled before

    Ok so it's my first time bottling and I'm just looking for some advice for the best method for adding or mixing the priming sugar? I'm using dextrose 5 ounces it says on the bag it's for a five gallon batch.

    Worried about wort temp?

    I have a thermometer sitting on top of my fermentation buck and it reads about 78F. It's been sitting almost a week, a week on Sunday. Just wondering if it will be ok to take the lid off to take an actual temp reading of the wort?

    Another airlock question

    So just curious to as how crazy should my air lock be bubbling. It seems pretty slow but this is my first 5 gallon batch so I'm not sure. It's going about one bubble every 2 or 3 seconds, this is the second day of fermentation.
