I'm looking at putting together a new, 90 litre kettle, and I'm having a bit of trouble finding a sight glass for it. Brewhardware can easily supply the glass itself, but only sells vinyl decals up to 60 litres. Does anyone know where I could easily get a replacement set of decals?

Does anyone have trouble with removing the bag from a keggle? I'm afraid that the grain bag might swell as it's lifted, and catch on the edges of the hole cut into the keg.

I'm just considering the options. It occurred to me that the other designs used rigid insulation by necessity.

I just got a monster mill, and as it happened it was time to make and can a batch of canned sweet wort. I thought this would be a good test run for the mill. It was, in a sense; my efficiency went from 60-something to 87%, giving me 7 gallons of wort to can rather than the planned for 5.5...

Yeah, I'm not really sure what's going on now. All of the really big bubbles have popped and there are now just a few medium sized ones forming and popping over the scale of a day or so. It's a big-ish beer and I was planning on letting it sit for a month anyway. I'll just watch it.

I've got an irish red that's been sitting in the carboy for a couple weeks, and today I noticed some rather large bubbles. They appear milky/yeasty, but did I grow something I didn't intend to? Difficult to photograph, but nonetheless:

Maybe I'm just spoiled by LHBS with $2.50/ounce prices? It seems Americans get much better bulk deals.
