    Has anybody attempted to split a chest freezer to half half frozen and half as a fermenter? I can't think of anyway that it would work without some pretty heavy modifications

    So far every GF recipe I've seen involves some kind of extract (mostly sorghum). Are there recipes out there that don't use extracts?
