    Favorite commercial brew?

Well, I like to fill my growlers at Cismontane and Stone in Oceanside. But I probably stop by a bottleshop once a week or so to find something new or different. If I can't find something interesting I know I can rely on a couple things: Deshutes Mirror Pond Deschutes Black Butte Porter Racer 5...

70 quart Coleman Extreme Mash Tun w/ CPVC Manifold

Just one question, sorry if its stupid. Is the manifold PVC, and if yes aren't you a little worried about it leeching chemicals and stuff into your mash? As far as I know PVC is not food safe.

    Beer Bar

There is a program, I think it's called beer finder or something. It keeps what you order and have on tap in an online database that you can print out your menus on regular paper each day. Also, look at apps for smartphones such as tap hunter. That is how I decide where I want to go to dinner...

    6 pack carrier.

They are pretty loose inside, kinda rattle. If I had more time, or on the next go round I'd definitely put dividers in. So, because I don't have enough homebrew to fill these before giving them out tonight, I picked a nice selection of brews to go with them. 1 each of- Big sky brewing- trout...

    6 pack carrier.

And for the rope, I threaded through the wood to make a handle then looped it back to itself, cut up a copper colored clothes hangar into small prices to make a clasp or clamp to attach the rope together.

    6 pack carrier.

Yeah, part of the gift for my groomsmen is that if they bring back the empties ill replace them with some fresh hombrews.

    6 pack carrier.

Here's my attempt at a wooden 6 pack carrier. I made a few of these for my groomsmen ( I recently got engaged). They are made mainly out of 1x6 poplar (cheap), With poplar slats, and thick twine (or thin rope). Tried to go with a natural look, used a chestnut stain. All put together with nails...

    Easy IPA

Hey guys, I have some ingredients for an IPA, wondering if its right and if anyone has suggestions for hop schedule. Doing BIAB, in a 30qt. Turkey fryer. The grains are pre mixed so I can't adjust that. I do have some spare hops on hand, cascade, fuggle, hallertau, and I think some northern...

Biggest Flip Top bottle I have ever seen

Cool thing about these "magnum" bottles is stone will fill them up like growlers if you go to the brewery or the company stores in Oceanside, Pasadena, or South Park. Can only be filled with the beer on the bottle, but still pretty cool.
