    Mold problem

The user name has a long history of mischief. I got it in the Flint knapping world about 15 yrs ago. I figured drink it asap. Thought there may be enough acid in the lemon and enough alcohol to save from dumping.

    Over Thinking

I have seen about 7000 questions on skeeter pee. It won't start or do I have to have a cake and on and on and on. It is so simple if you don't even think about reading the original. Mix 7 lbs of sugar to 4 gallons of water. Add 5 tsp of energizer Add 5 tsp nutrient Add 1 pack of any...

    Gravity ?

Spent I ended up with 19 lbs of cherries. I used 8 1/2 lbs of sugar and 4 and 1/4 gallons of water. This made 5 1/2 gallons of liquid ans the smashed cherries take the total volume to 7 gallons. What do you calculate my gravity to be? Thanks

    Brewing outside in the Winter

Get an IOWA 5 foot bury hydrant. Problem solved. If your water is freezing under the house you got air leaks or too close to outside wall. If it is the faucet it may not be frost proof.

Help going from 5gal to 10gal batches

Actually may be easier. Not as heavy so no pumps or bad backs. The small kettles cool faster as well. It takes the same 5 hrs weather it is two kettles or one big one. It is no big deal and easy done.
