It's not my fist batch of HB but it first batch I dry hopped. It's hoppy but not overly so I think around 50 IBU's according to tasty brew's calc. I ate Christmas leftovers so turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, ect.

My roommate and I sampled my latest batch of beer the other night while I was bottling and we both had unbelievable indigestion. I had the worst heartburn I’ve ever had and felt like sh*t all day. Has anyone else had this experience? The beer looked, smelled and tasted great.

This latest batch I bottled I used DME instead of corn sugar. I took boiling water poured into a clean sterilized mixing bowl and then mixed in 1 & 1/4 cups DME until dissolved. Then pursed that into the beer in the bottling bucket and mixed it in. It's been a week now with hardly any...

Carbonation was fine i opebed three shared with my roomates and carbonation was pretty much the same with all three. It's been in bottles for a week.

So i bottled my frist partial mash brew last week and opened a couple up lastnight. Tasted great when i sampled out of the secondary but came out of the bottles tasteing weird maybe kind of cidery, Buttery? I used corn sugar and not DME would the small amount of corn sugar produce such off flavors?

Did you check the beer. It was my understanding that they don’t pressurize the luggage area. Wouldn’t your beer explode? I was wanting to take a 12 pack of home brew with me on a plane for thanks giving.
