The Dark Lord ....cloning this massive beer!!

I glanced at the recipe when the magazine came in the other day. I think there were three pages of grains listed! (maybe a little exaggerated, but man that's a bunch of grains)

Wearing a face mask when brewing

I'm going to start wearing a mask when I mill. My allergies kick it in to high gear every time when I don't wear one. You'd think I would have learned before going through this a dozen times!

    Guinness Nitro IPA

This is pretty much how I feel about this beer. I was surprised to take my first drink and got almost no hop character from the beer. I knew it would be different being a nitro, but they call it an "IPA", so I expected it to resemble one. I will finish the other 5 eventually.

One food you have never had... but are curious

Ah. We used to hit up Risky's at the stockyards every once in a while but I'm not sure I ever visited Cooper's. I lived in Stephenville for a while, where the original Hard 8 was located and it was always a hit. Anytime family was in town, we usually headed there.

What are you doing instead of brewing this weekend?

I'll be heading out to a Cardinals game (party suite, yes Budweiser will be in the mix today) then heading to the St. Louis Microfest afterwards to cleanse my pallet. I'm not sure I'll be standing at 10 pm.

    I'm A Kegger.......

I'm in the same boat, just started about a month and a half ago. I still smile when I walk into the garage and see that kegerator sitting there. I planned on using picnic taps for a while but once I put my first full keg in I couldn't help myself and went all out with perlick faucets. Definitely...

    Chocolate Espresso Stout

I sampled a bit of this before I transferred to the keg and it tasted a bit salty. Don't get me wrong, I think this is going to turn out pretty good but I don't ever remember tasting any saltiness in a stout before. My wife actually mentioned that first so maybe I'm tasting it by the power of...

    Dual regulator

Thank you for the help Rev. I'm almost all set up now. I received my "add on" regulator body yesterday and got it installed. Now I just need to work on getting those kegs filled!

    Show us your Kegerator

I did small pilot holes and poked around and didn't hit anything so I went for it.

    Show us your Kegerator

I finally get to join the fun. Mostly done. Have a little work still, but it's now usable!

    Dual regulator

Awesome. Thank you for the info. I'm pretty excited to make the switch to kegging.

    Dual regulator

So from the picture shown, you set the first to 35 psi. I guess my main question would be, do the second and third regulators have to be set progressively lower or can you set the second lower than the third? I don't know how these work, but it seams that each regulator in progression lets...
