    Slow carbination

Brewed a BB Imperial Nut Brown. 3 weeks in bucket.....then bottled. Tried one after 1 week in bottle. No carbonation, or at least, very little. Normal? Every other beer I've made I've tried after 1 week at it was carbing up ok.

What Brewers Best Extract Kits do you like?

I have brewed the Oatmeal Stout, the Witbier, Oktoberfest, and a few others as well.....they have all turned out very, very good IMO. Right now I have their Rye Pale Ale in the primary, and just bottles the Imperial Nut Brown.

    Clear?

So....I've made 2 Brewers Best batches, one was an oatmeal stout and the other a belguin wheat......neither of which clarity was not an issue. Next 2 batches are an IPA and a summer ale. After 3 weeks in the primary, will they be clear for bottling without doing any 'clearing'?

Is one week in primary enough for an Oatmeal Stout?

My oatmeal stout was in primary 3 weeks, then bottled. Very clear. After one week in bottle I popped one. Very smooth and tasty!!! Cant wait to try one after 2 weeks!

    stout

I like stouts....Guinness is not all that good in my opinion....these small craft brewers make way better stout than Guinness.....plus I prefer the english stout.

    Secondary??

Greetings..... First batch is bubbling!!! It is a BB Oatmeal Stout. From what I read here on the forum, I cant decide on leaving in the primary or using secondary. I'm inclined to leave in fermenter....just seems easier. If so, how long to leave in fermenter? 3 weeks then bottle? At any...

Going to give it a whirl !

My first batch is in the primary!!!! BB Oatmeal Stout..... Everything seemed to go as planned, the steep seemed to go well, the boil went well. Chilled it down in a matter of minutes with the ice water in the sink technique. Poured it in the primary, filled it up to 5 gal., then shook the...
