    So who's brewing this weekend?

    I'm brewing my third overall batch tonight and having a couple buddies over. I think my enthusiasm has exceeded my ability, but I'm only too happy to share the joy of homebrewing with others. Doing a porter tonight; will be a replication of Breckenridge Vanilla Porter I hope. :)

    Alaskan Brewing coming to Texas

    I'm really happy to see Alaskan coming to Houston! I've had it once whilst in Seattle, and liked the amber. And ditto to the other comments about Southern Star and Karbach---awesome stuff! Nice to see local outfits beginning to really get some buzz.
