I think I read somewhere that band-aidy medicinal tastes are the result of wild yeast mixing with your wort. Could it be that the tubing/spigot were not sinitized well enough? Also, it could be from too much chlorine in your water. Its what I read anyway. I wouldnt know firsthand.

what I mean is, my dogs will clean the floor for me. If I make a 2/3 batch, wont the yeast, i dunno, "overpower" the wort, or something?

Hmm.......I see your remarks. I too do not notice the citrus. In fact, after beer #3, it keeps getting better. I dont put stock in other folks opinions, but I like to know what others say about it. It did not get very good reviews on beeradvocate either
