What was your FG?

Well, it’s kegged. I’m going out of town for a month but will report back if it’s any good. Next time I might mash at 154

I just kegged mine. It had a fg of 1.020. Is that normal? I too mashed at 158. Seemed high .

I’m a believer. Chuck turned out fantastic . FYI I ended up salting the meat heavily for two days prior to smoking . Not sure if that was the right move or not

I’m five hours in on my 7lbs of chuck. Temp has been a consistent 225f

Since I’m sure all of hbt is worried, I’d like to report back that this beer has really come into its own. Soapy flavor is gone. Really nice beer
