    First AG double batch day.

I've been AG brewing for almost 2 years now and I finally decided to go for a 2fer. Started at 3pm and ended at 10pm. Not too bad really the first batch was a lager and chilling took a bit. Late season Marzen and a Cream Ale in Primary and man I'm tired but totally worth it.

    Northern Brewer yeast policy.

I had a bad Wyeast smack pack and they replaced with no questions asked. I got a refund as a buddy had fresh slurry of the same yeast. I know that there are a lot of NB fanboys around but I think this is why. Thanks to Steve and Northern Brewer for being a stand up supplier.

    Smack pack gone bad?

Wyeast American Ale 1056. MFG 3/7/12. The pack is swollen and it has not been smacked yet? It wasn't when it was purchased. I'm assuming some sort of contamination but looking for thoughts on this. Wanting to brew tomorrow but no local sources of liquid yeast. I do have access to dry...

    Offer for 3 keg system.

I made a low ball offer on a kegging system. What do you think it would be worth? It had 3 5gal used kegs, a 3way gang valve, a pretty large C02 tank (couldn't tell the age on this), lines with picnic taps, and replacement O rings. It all looked in nice shape. How much would you have...

    Banjo burner weirdness

I bought a 10" banjo burner from Northern Brewer about 6 weeks ago. I has worked wonderfully until my last batch. I had a propane tank run out at the end of my boil. I switched to my back up, but it would not hold a flame. It was like it wasn't getting any fuel. I figured it for a bad...

Where are you guys finding Gamma lids? I looked at my local Lowes and Walmart with no luck. I was thinking of trying my GFS (Gordon Food Services) Thought I would be a good source for food grade buckets and Gamma lids. Anyone have luck there? Thanks

Localish place to buy bulk grains.

I will be getting my grain mill (Rebel Mill:D) on Saturday. I was wondering if anyone in my neck of the woods knows of any LHBS that carry bulk gains. I don't mind paying a bit more to not have it shipped. I'm located in Springfield Illinois. I would consider Peoria, Bloomington, Decatur and...
