    Condensation in keezer

Hey, I use an Eva-Dry in my keezer and have a recirculating fan and im still getting a lot of condensation. Any ideas as to why this might be or what i can do to remedy it? I have a good seal around the collar both to the freezer itself and the lid. Its a 8.8 cu ft and i have the temp set to 38 F

magnets & brackets for drip tray

I did, I have to repaint mine, I found it was due to moving the drip tray around attached to the keezer so that was my own fault. I may try to put a thin layer of cloth on my next magnet set

magnets & brackets for drip tray

Seems like this would work, http://m.harborfreight.com/50mm-round-magnet-96651.html?utm_referrer=direct%2Fnot%20provided they have three sizes available and are cheaper than on amazon. The 40mm has a 15lbs magnetic pull for 1.99 each, the 50mm has a 25 lbs for 2.99 & the 66mm has a 95lbs for...

magnets & brackets for drip tray

Wow that looks really clean! Where did you get those magnets? I've been using hard drive magnets and they've been working well but I want a more aesthetic looking tray and that one definitely fits the bill. Does it support full pints too?

"polishing your keg" is more than a clever euphemism

I would recommend wiping down the keg with acetone in between each stage. This helps remove a lot of the excess gunk still on the keg. This helped a lot with mine and I followed Bobby's instructions

    Imperial Pumpkin stout advice

Yeah rice hulls are definitely going in. I have a pump but I don't think I'll use it on this brew. Slow drain will be done for sure

    Imperial Pumpkin stout advice

I usually only lose a couple degrees over a 60-90m mash with a half full mash tun. I should have a completely full mash tun with this brew and it will be indoors so i dont think i will lose even 10 degrees over the 8hr mash. Im mashing @ 156 so i think it would at most drop down to 145. I...

    Imperial Pumpkin stout advice

Well im sure ill definitely get full conversion. I was hoping to do the mash the night before to cut down on my brew time the next day as Id like to get in 2 partial mash batches as well. The main worry i would have would be the mash souring. Im not using a ton of dark malts, i think 2 lbs at...
