    I screwed up. How badly?

    Plastic (cooler) mash tun

    Can I get some opinions on whether using a cooler for a mash tune will effect the taste of the final product. I just can't think that pouring hot water into a plastic cooler will not leave a plastic taste. thank you

    First batch- really bad

    I just tasted a mild ale that's been in the fermenter for three weeks. Was really bitter.     Trying not to aerate

    I know when you transfer from the fermenter to the bottling bucket, you try not to aerate the beer. I didn't get a lid with my bucket so should I cover the top of the bucket with something( plastic wrap) while I'm syphoning into it.?
