    Carb Sanke Keg On Its Side

    Hello, Looking to speed up the time it takes to force carb my sanke keg. I have a chest freezer that has the room to lay the keg down. This, in theory, would increase the surface area exposed and decrease the time it takes to carb. Is this safe? Haven't heard of this technique before.

    I want to rouse beer that is currently in the primary to force excess CO2 out. I opened the plastic bucket to take a hydrometer reading in order to verify fermentation is complete. My concern is that the oxygen now in the primary will cause oxidation when I swirl the beer around to rouse...
