I'm brewing up my first one gallon stovetop all grain beer to use up some extra ingredients. What do you guys think of.. For one gallon. Is this even going Halfway decent? I'm in the middle of the mash now at 153 degrees

2# two row briess
.5# victory
.5# briess midnight wheat

.5 oz cascade for 60 mins

Looks good. You should have a SG around 1.080. Let me know how it tastes.

Seems reasonable to me. Even if it was something odd, you might discover something awesome.

Thanks guys i got about a gallon and a half boiling now with a pre boil gravity of 1.056. So im hoping fg after boil of around 1070? It smells great and is just about black. Correction.. It is black. And very silky smooth tasting. I think the cascades are going to be wild with the midnight wheat malt. Their aromas are already battling it out on my stove.
