Looking for: Atlanta Beer Store

I have recently moved to Atlanta and as a result I am in the process of finding local sources for my many wants. Near the top of my priority list is the search for a local market with a wide selection of craft beer. I am hoping my HBT community brethren can assist me in my search. Anyone have any personal favorite places to shop for good craft beer in Atlanta?

I was just in Suwanee over the weekend Taco Mac's had like 300+ beers in the bottle and 10-20 taps....

Might be a place to start. As for a Atl LHBS I dunno.

What part of town are you in? We just moved to the Buford/Braselton area about 5 months ago.

I have also found a hand few of Krogers that have a very good selection and turn over product very fast.

Hop City, just west of downtown, may be the best place.

Mink's on Delk road is good and has people who know beer and will advise you.

Total Wine has a good selection but the people there know wine not beer.

The Sherlock's chain has a good selection.

Yes, yes and yes. I was born and raised in Atlanta, and you will not find better selection than Hop City and Green's in the ATL. Also, for an amazing pub, check out the Brick Store Pub. Best pub I've ever set foot in.

Thanks everyone. I have been over to Hop City on a couple of occasions and their selection is quite impressive. I will check out Greens soon as well...for now though, the fridge is in pretty good shape. Well stocked for a brewing weekend.

Also, I'll second Kroger. They always have the local brews from Terrapin, Red Brick, and Sweetwater. And, they've got the "make your own six pack" so you can get a nice sampling of some of the local breweries.
