Once again, Lagunitas has handed me a delicious beer to try. I just had my first MAXIMUS, and really enjoyed the flavor. I am sitting here thinking "this is an IPA I would like to brew" or an IPA similar in notes.
The problem comes from the fact, I am such a neanderthal, I have absolutely no idea what I am tasting! For sure is a hoppy one, but to my palate (uhhhgg, is good in mouth, he grunts) there is more than that, but what?!?
Is it floral, citrus, I simply don't know?
If you have done any delicious research into this, and know a little about what is coming through, would you please educate me a bit?
