Hello Hello!

I've only been lurking for about a week. I made my 1st ever home brewed beverage a few days ago. Okay, so it's only ginger ale with lime but boy is it ever yummy! No more Coca Cola for me. I'm going to try making hard cider next. I'm ordering a hydrometer and some "real" yeast tomorrow but I think I'm going to use baking yeast for the cider too. I like the slightly beery taste. This ginger ale is lip-smacking refreshing and I've NEVER liked ginger ale. Sorry. I'm so excited!

The thread so nice they named it twice. I'm new too, but welcome anyhow! I made some cider for my second brew and it felt a bit easier than the beer.
