So on monday I made a starter for a beer I wanted to brew wednesday. However, work required me to come in and ultimately I was unable to brew so I stuck the starter in the fridge. Now I want to brew sunday, almost a week after the starter was made - but it was in the fridge after it finished. Is it still good? I probably didnt need a starter. It's for a wheat beer that I want to ferment a 1.045 down to about 1.010 so I figured the vial would work.

Its white labs American Hefeweizen.

It should be fine if its not been infected, if it smells like beer once its warmed up I would just chuck it in. Im no expert on yeast though but having it in the fridge should have basically just made it hibernate.
