4 lbs light dme
1 lb crystal 120
1/2 lb chocolate
1 oz EKG @ 60 mins
1/2 oz EKG @5 mins
windsor dried ale yeast
this is an extract mild brown recipe that I made based on leftovers in my closet just started drinking it this past weekend and its great!
I steeped the crystal & chocolate in 150 degree water for 30 min. then added 1 lb dme brought it to a boil added the hops then dissolved the rest of the dme at flame-out chilled and added the windsor which I think was key. in my past milds I have used notty and the windsor makes a much better mild imho.
