Liquid malt extract from ebay?

Has any one bought LME or DME on ebay. I saw a auction for 6lbs with shipping for about 19.00 Is this crap? Where is a good place to buy it in bulk I could probaly get the same from my local brew shop for the same price. just thought I'd ask.:mug:
 
I personally wouldn't use it, but that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it. I'd be concerned that it might be old, depending on the seller. I just buy everything from NB knowing their stock turns over at a rapid rate.

you want the freshest extract you can get. especially for lme. like f250 said You want to buy from a place that gets their stock turned over alot. northern brewer is good and so is morebeer. If you are getting extract from somewhere else than make sure to get dme instead. It has much longer shelf life.
