My water was turned off earlier today so they could do some work on the mains pipes. My water now is a little cloudy. Am I ok to go ahead and use that with star-san to sanitize my fermentor?

Not sure if this is a big issue or not??

Odds are you are OK. If you wnt to be on the safe side go to the drug store/grocery store and pick up a gallon or two of distilled or RO water. Starsan lasts for months mixed in with that stuff.

The other concern would be do you want to brew with the cloudy water. It should clear up after it has been run a while I would think. They just stirred up some sediment in the pipes when they worked on it.

No I don't want to brew today. I just want to sanitize my secondary better bottle and siphon so I can transfer from primary.
