Just this once, could someone plug in my water profile and make a suggestion on additions. I think I have it right but would really appreciate another opinion as this will be my first water adjustment.
I'm doing an American Wheat (malty). I can post the recipe if needed.
My Profile:
Ca - 19.2
Mg - 16.5
Na - 23.2
SO4 - 40.6
Cl - 12.4
HCO3 - 52.1

6 gals mash & 5.5 gals sparge (fly)

I'm thinking a mash water addition of 2 grams Gypsum & 5 grams Calcium Chloride.

Addition to the boil would be almost the same (not sure my scale will do this so I may have to round up) 1.8 grams Gypsum & 4.6 grams Calc. Chloride.

Am I in the ballpark?

i'm no expert but looks good in Palmer's spreadsheet.... just wondering why the 2nd addition in the boil not sure you need it...maybe someone else can help out more

yeah you should adjust your mash and sparge water not the wort.
