Brewed the sunday and the wort looked odd. Now its fermenting but has a weird rusty color. I did a biab and mashed for about 90 mins. I used 10 lbs 2row pale, 1.5 victory, 1.25 crystal 40 and .75 lbs lt munich and crystal 20.

When you do BIAB and you squeeze the wort out of the bag at the end of the mash, you always will get murky wort which will get even worse when the yeast start working. Don't worry about it, the fine flour and proteins that make it murky will settle out and your beer will turn out clear anyway.

Fermentation is ugly and freaky looking, and perfectly normal. Pretty amazing to think that we get such amazing clear and tasty beverages from what amounts to digestion, rot and the production of what in a sense, is nothing but waste products from micro-organisms. ;)
