I was thinking about adding one of those stainless boil shields on the end of the diptube to filter out the whole hops. My question to those that have one of these shields is do you think they would be bendable enough to put on the end of the diptube? I wanted to take the 1/2" fitting off and clamp it with a hose clamp to the end of the diptube. Then I would bend the rest around the outside of the kettle. Do you think this would be possible?
