I made a 3 gallon batch of Milk Stout for my buddy. Turned out amazing according to him. To me however, stouts aren't really a style I care for. I've drank a couple. Just to see how the flavor evolved during conditioning, but it's not something I would regularly drink.

US-05, and Citra are the most I've used so far.

I would drop the 2 oz of hops for bittering, that's way too much for 60 min. You could do a 1 oz blend of the two, that would be better. Or you could use a clean bittering hop, like Magnum or Galena, and push the Mosaic and Citra back to late addition hops for an aroma boost. Other than...

Hemp seeds are perfectly legal to eat, and are not the same as MJ, nor do they produce the same effect. Dried hemp seeds will add nothing to a beer. Hemp does NOT=Weed.

I buy cheap digital ones for about $10 at my local Ocean State Job Lot. They've always been accurate for me, even if they aren't the fanciest built things. I can't complain.

My first 5 gallon batch? (I don't count the Mr. Beer kits I made for a month before moving on.) That would be NB's Caribou Slobber. Took forever to come to a boil (was using stove top), almost forgot to put the specialty grains in a bag (SWMBO saved my hinder on that one), almost boiled over...

I find SA's Rebel IPA to be an incredibly weak IPA. It's not terrible, but it's not great either. Even for a session IPA it kind of misses the mark. Just sayin.:drunk: Oh, and no one should ever whine about free beer.
