    The question is was he running cat 5 or using ready made Ethernet cables. if they were crossover cables then nothing would work.

    It will update on pours. I don't know how long your cat5 run is, that could be the problem. my flow meter wires are only about 15" long and my arduino is in the fridge with everything else communicating over Bluetooth to the pi.

    Use a full size coupling to get the dimple size right. then you can come back with the half coupling to get the seat just right. as far as coupling size verses pull through tool. you can take a hammer and lightly pound the dimple back in to reduce the size for a snug fit.

    Getting power doesn't mean you have sufficient power... I just bought a pi zerow from canakit… with the full kit. it comes with a 1a power supply. which is plenty of power for a zero. guess what happened when I plugged in my 3d printer while the wifi was active…. So now it's on a 2.5a psu...
