I am just wondering if a homebrew shop can give away any type of beer the owner of the brew shop would make. Would there be any kind of licsence as to making the beer and just giving it away. I think a liquor liscense only pertains to selling alcohol. If any one else knows anything about this...
Over pitching is not as big of an issue as under pitching is. It depends on what type of beer you are brewing but if you do over pitch too much then it slows the growth of your yeasts and they can become weak basically because there isn't enough food for them. This could result in your yeast to...
Ya I was going to do this but I don't want to take any chance of a bad bottle. It seems like the blichmann is a little more safe. I would like to do a true comparison with both and see how much better the store bought beer gun really is if at all. Thanks for the link though. I might just try it...
I have a cpbf already but wouldn't mind another one for the right price. Can you send me pics either to [email protected] or by text to my phone number. It is the number above in the first post. Thanks.
I have been keging in sankes for a while now and the sanke spear gaskets are wearing out along with the lock ring in the top. Anyone know where to get these, especially the rubber gasket for the spear? Thanks.
Anyone know where to get the sanke 10 liter kegs for a good price. I like the size of them and would like to pick up about 5 of them. I found some new ones but they were 70 bones. That is a little more than I would like to pay for one.
If any one is going to be going down there I could really use a couple of those cold plates. Please let me know if anyone decides to take a trip down there.
As the title says, looking for a cold plate and just want to see if someone has one they would part with so I can save a few bones. Let me know, thanks.

How long will a full keg at room tempurature last compared to a keg stored at serving temp? The reason I ask is I would like to do a serving setup from warm kegs through a chilled line. Also what kind of presure would I have to keep on the kegs to hold the right co2 volumes for carbonation?
Hey everyone! I just got into brewing and I am having a blast. I have seen a few people on here from Denver but not many from Grand Junction, which is where I am from.
This looks like a great board and I have just been browsing for the past month trying to learn everything I can.
