Nevada Fully welded tri clamp 20 gallon Kals electric 50a back to back set up

Thought I would clean this up a bit. Looking for 6000.00 I easily have almost double that in this system. Add in all the ball valves, fittings, and more on those kettles and it adds up very quick. I will ship the brewing system in one crate via ltl to a freight depot near you and you can...

    Canmore Brew Guy's EHERMS Build

I have a 50a 3v herms. It's too late now, but you are going to be surprised how much waste you are going to have with all that plumbing and 15 gallon kettles.

Turn Key eHERMS Brewery - The Spike System

I have to admit if I had it to do over again I would not have gone all tri clover fittings. Added a ton of cost to my rig and I dont see the real benefit. I just dont feel the need to take it apart and clean but about once per 5 brews or so, and that is probably self imposed.

First ferment with a bug blend question

I was lucky enough to get a yeast sample from the brewery as well as the grain bill for this beer https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/29200/179752/ The yeast sample was in a small mason jar and had about 2 inches of yeast in the bottom with another inch of beer on top. I had it in...

    HERMs system hlt build

dont forget that in addition to the diameter of the coil you have the straight area of tubing and the fitting to consider when deciding if it "fits" Of course you can cut the straight area but only to a point and still get it in the fitting and the fitting in the hole in the pot wall.

E Brew Supply BCS Panel build

I have been using my Kal panel I built from a kit and want to try going to bcs, just because. I like building stuff almost as much as brewing (maybe more) and want to try some of the control features of BCS. In addition building the new panel while I have the old one means no down and...

I have the rapids one and have no complaints. I bought mine before they offered one.

    New to Electric

Not suggesting you do what I did, but in your space, I suggest a biab set up will be infinitely easier and productive. Transferring hot liquid between all those vessels inside is going to be a messy chore. Not to mention dealing with heat loss and the management of all that. If you think...

Doubling Down: SS Brewtech Conical + FTSS + Glycol Power Pack

I am surprised to see that tape work. I tried that when I first had my brew master (before they came out with the heat option) and I could never get one large enough to sustain temps much less raise them in my garage. I am not at home but from memory there was a very small vertical distance...
