Hi all. I have a porter in primary. The final ABV should be around 9%. I want to hide the boozy taste by using vanilla and wood chips in secondary. I bought vanilla powder but it says to use it at time of kegging. Since this is going straight to keg, I don't see a problem.

I bought four corney kegs. Three are pin locks and one is a post style. I thought you could interchange the post and pin lock post but I guess not. I have a chance to pick up a few more post style.
Does anyone know of a company that has post that can be interchanged?
I want to use the stc1000 for a small fridge to ferment and bottle age. Now the questions:
Should the temp probe be placed in water to show an accurate temp?
Is the probe waterproof ?
